Who is Timeless Trails?

Timeless Trails, that's us: David, Frederik and Peter. All three of us are licenced tour guides with a common passion: BRUGES.
You can call us the three Brugesketeers. Nobody will blame you. We won't for sure.

David Serlet

David is the soul of Timeless Trails.
Without David there would not be a Timeless Trails. It's as simple as that.
Being a polyglot, he knows, like no-one else, how to entertain people, in various languages.
Teaching Dutch to non-native speakers, David is also used to speaking in front of a group.

Frederik Maertens

Frederik is the brain of Timeless Trails. As a historian he knows, like no-one else, how to pepper our fascinating story with historical truths. His passion is to disclose the hidden history of the most wonderful places.
In Frederik's eyes, a tour guide is someone who unravels mysteries to his audience, and he does that with the utmost pleasure, on these less know spots of Bruges and surroundings.

Peter has 2 big passions: food and Bruges.
Passions that Peter loves to share with you.

Toegankelijkheid en veiligheid
Onze rondleidingen vinden plaats in historische gebouwen.

Accessibility and Safety
Our tours take place in historic buildings. Due to the nature and age of these properties, visitors may encounter stairs, thresholds, narrow passageways and uneven floors. A basic level of mobility is therefore required at some locations. Not all locations, or all parts of a location, are accessible to people with reduced mobility. If you have any concerns, please contact us in advance so that we can discuss what is possible.
